The TGU Manual Gate Unit creates a controlled passageway for operators in production lines.
The gate unit acts as two consecutive belt sections for transporting PCBs; the first belt section fixed and acting as a buffer and the second belt section is mounted on a telescopic slide.
After operator request, the function of the conveyor stops allowing and the second belt is retracted creating a passage for the operator.
When opened, the gate unit notifies the previous unit that it cannot accept any PCBs.
