With the integration of Platzgummer GmbH into the IPTE network in 2008, the group expanded its core competencies for mechatronic automation. Above all, the product range of the OEMs such as cylinder head assembly, swivel bearings and wheel carrier assemblies require further know-how in the automation of products over 30kg. In the combination with the electronics and the know-how of the handling of small parts / electronics, the business fields complement each other and create synergies.
The biggest challenge within this project was to save space, so we created an u-shaped line designed for manual assembly and handling.
