IPTE makes every effort to honor the preferences of our Web site users concerning the collection and use of personally identifiable information. This statement describes how IPTE collects and uses personally identifying information of visitors to our Web sites.

This privacy statement covers the following sites operated by IPTE: www.ipte.com and other IPTE sites that can be accessed through our main site. We encourage you to take the time to read this privacy statement and those of any Website you visit.

Collected Information

In general, when you visit our Websites and access information, you will remain anonymous.
For some services provided through our Websites, we will ask you to register using online registration forms. A registration form will ask for information both about the company to be registered and the individual employees who will use our online services as representatives of the company. For some Web site services, you will be asked to provide a password and user identification, including citizenship country. This information is collected to confirm eligibility for use of the online services, to establish the identity of the company and authorized users, to provide compliance with export control regulations and for business contact purposes.

Some services available on our Websites involve the purchase (or sale) by Web site visitors of IPTE equipment or parts. If you elect to engage in transaction opportunities on our Web sites, you will be asked to provide information necessary to facilitate transactions such as shipping address and payment instructions.

IPTE does not collect information about your use of our Websites nor what browser you are using nor your IP address.

IPTE does not use cookies on its websites.

If you choose to post messages in message areas or to provide feedback or send an e-mail to us, we may keep a record of that posting or correspondence. Information you disclose in a public message area will naturally be available to and shared with other visitors to our Web sites.

How We Use Information

IPTE may use your information for its own marketing purposes. This may include providing you with information targeted to your interests. We will give you the opportunity to elect not to receive direct-marketing materials from us. IPTE does not sell any personally identifiable information.

When you place an order or make an offer to participate in a transaction opportunity, we will use your personally identifiable information to facilitate the transaction.
The primary use of your information is to enable IPTE to deliver specific services or products you request or to complete a transaction initiated by you. During the course of completing a transaction initiated by you, IPTE may provide your contact or other information to a trading partner or other party to the transaction (e.g., financier or bank transferring funds).

IPTE may provide third parties with personal data received or processed for generally accepted business purposes, subject to this privacy statement, and as required by law or when we believe such disclosure is necessary in connection with a judicial proceeding, to comply with an applicable court order, subpoena, law or regulation, or to protect our property or assert our legal rights.

Again, information you disclose in a public forum will naturally be public and available to other visitors to our Websites. To the extent you disclose your information to other parties, their use of the information will not be subject to this privacy statement.

Applicant Data

IPTE may use the information that you provide and any other information which is subsequently provided (the “Information”) in considering you for a specific position and/or other available positions at any IPTE location. Your Information will remain active and may be kept on record for a limited period of time as required by law.

Your Information is stored on a server in the Belgium, and duplicated on a server in Germany,  and is visible to all IPTE locations globally, including countries where laws may not protect data privacy to the same extent as laws in the country or region in which you live. If your submission is considered for employment, it will be used for these purposes only and normally considered primarily in locations where the position(s) is available.
If you become or currently are an IPTE employee, your Information will be retained in individual employment records kept by IPTE. Such Information will be used in administering benefits and performing IPTEs contractual and other legal obligations.

By submitting your Information, you acknowledge and agree that IPTE will retain such Information for the purposes mentioned above and consent to such use.

Data Security

IPTE uses industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information. Unfortunately, it is impossible to absolutely guarantee the security of data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network. Therefore, although we take reasonable measures to protect your information, IPTE cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to us or from online services and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will use industry standard efforts to ensure its security on our systems.

If IPTE provides links to third party sites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies posted on those third party sites you visit since we do not control those Web sites.

Note on data transfer to the USA

Among other things, tools from companies based in the USA are integrated on our website. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country in the sense of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Cookie consent with Cookiebot

Our website uses the cookie consent technology of Cookiebot to obtain your consent for the
consent to the storage of certain cookies on your terminal device and to document this consent
documented. The provider of this technology is Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (hereinafter "Cookiebot").

When you visit our website, a connection is established to Cookiebot's servers in order to obtain your consent to the use of cookies. For this purpose, Cookiebot stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consents granted to you or their revocation. The data collected in this way is stored until you request us to delete it, delete the Cookiebot cookie yourself or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Legal storage obligations remain unaffected by this. The use of Cookiebot is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. c DSGVO and serves to fulfill our legal obligation to obtain consent for the use of cookies.

Contact forms

If you send us inquiries via one of our contact forms, the contact data you provide and the content of your inquiry will be stored by us for processing. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO, provided that your request is necessary for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO).

The data you provide will remain with us until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies or you request us to delete it. Legal provisions, in particular retention obligations, remain unaffected.

Download form

If you use our download form to obtain product data, the personal data you provide will be stored by us for processing. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO and serves to provide our usage offer. The data you provide will remain until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies, but for a maximum period of 7 days.

Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The Google Tag Manager is a tool that enables us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. 

The Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies and does not perform any independent analyses. It only serves to manage and play out the tools integrated via it. However, the Google Tag Manager records your IP address, which may also be transmitted to Google's parent company in the United States.

The use of the Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The
website operator has a legitimate interest in a quick and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website. If a corresponding consent was requested, the processing is based exclusively on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; you can revoke your consent at any time.

Google Analytics 

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. 

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, dwell time, operating systems used and the origin of the user. This data may be summarized by Google in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their end device. Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The use of this analysis tool is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time.

IP anonymization 

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

Newsletter

This website uses Inxmail for sending newsletters. The provider is Inxmail GmbH, Wetzinger Straße 17, 79106 Freiburg (hereinafter referred to as Inxmail). Inxmail is a service with which, among other things, the sending of newsletters can be organized and analyzed. The data entered by you for the purpose of sending newsletters is processed on the servers of Inxmail.

Data analysis through Inxmail

With the help of Inxmail, we are able to analyze our newsletter campaigns. For example, we can see whether a newsletter message was opened and which links, if any, were clicked. In this way, we can determine, among other things, which links were clicked on particularly often. In addition, we can see whether certain previously defined actions were performed after opening / clicking (conversion rate). We can thus see, for example, whether you have made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter. Inxmail also enables us to subdivide ("cluster") the newsletter recipients on the basis of various categories. In doing so, newsletter recipients can be subdivided by age, gender or place of residence, for example. In this way, we can better adapt newsletters to the respective target group.

Anonymized tracking

We use the anonymized tracking of Inxmail, in which an inference to your person is only possible if you have expressly consented to this in advance.

Legal basis

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time for the future. 

Storage period

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing from the newsletter or after the purpose has ceased to exist. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
