The MLL-VI Multi Magazine Line Loader is designed for loading production lines with empty or partially-processed PCBs. The PCBs are stocked in magazine racks. The operator loads the bottom belts with maximal three full racks. The first rack automatically enters the lift cage which then positions itself so that the first PCB is at SMEMA-level. The pusher --equally at SMEMA-level-- pushes the first PCB into the production line. The lift cage next moves up/down one position to bring the next PCB level with the pusher. When the request comes in, the next PCB is pushed into the production line. As soon as the rack is empty, it is exported on the top belt section where it is to be removed by the operator. The top belt section can carry up to two racks (three with the lift cage included). Possible rack types are CAB703 and CAB707. The width of the belt sections can be adjusted by hand. As an option, the loader can be equipped with an automatic width-adjustment module that automatically adjusts the position of the pusher to the width of the PCB. Another option is the extension at the beginning of the bottom belt section that allows the operator to load an extra rack (four instead of three).
The MLL-VI Multi Magazine Line Loader integrates easily in a fully automated SMEMA-compatible test environment. The control panel with touch screen gives access to all parameters and settings.
The MLL-VI Multi Magazine Line Loader as depicted above is a line loader with side-loading. Another configuration for the line loader is the MLL-VI Multi Magazine Line Loader with back-loading; racks are now loaded at the back, the pusher however is still fitted to the left side of the lift section.
