The standard FBU buffer unit enables line balancing based on the FIFO (first in first out) principle. It buffers PCB or carriers into a stack.
The pitch is adjustable based on product height. Every product arriving at the input will be loaded into the next free position in the stack.
The oldest product will be unloaded first when the next station enables the export function. The FIFO function guarantees the original assembly sequence of the products.
The FBU buffer can also be equipped with fans to cool down the temperature of the products.
A minimum storage time can be set. This guarantees that every products has been into the stack for this storage time.
