Depaneling
High-technology panelized printed circuit boards require a precise, stress-free separation process to prevent damage to the PCBs and components.
According to the practice on the shop floor, all normally sized PCBs, substrates or board assemblies, respectively, have to be singulated from a large multi-circuit panel. This is valid for all of them, be they very complex, very fragile or just standard versions. IPTE has accomplished these requirements with a full range of cutting equipment on the basis of its SpeedRouter depaneler since 1998. Depending on the application, the equipment performs this task stress reduced or absolutely stress-free for the boards and the components. Depending on the particular demands and application, both cutting technologies sawing and milling or a combination of both are available.
The IPTE depanelers can be utilized in all kinds of production environments. They can be seamlessly integrated, for example, in in-line manufacturing environments with automated ingoing and outgoing feeder units, and also be used in stand-alone configuration for manually supplied loading and de-loading of boards.
